Laminator applying protective film over large format print

What is a laminator used for?

A laminator is used to apply a protective film over prints, such as stickers, banners, and signs. Lamination finishes the piece and is typically the step that comes right after printing in a sign and graphics print shop.

Width: the laminator should be equal to or wider than your printer. The BUSTERR Pro and Standard laminators accept media up to 1600 mm, compatible with prints on rolls up to 1.60 m.

Thickness: if you also laminate mounted rigid materials, check the maximum thickness. BUSTERR models work with media up to 28 mm.

Hot or cold: BUSTERR are hot/cold trimming laminators, with infrared heating up to 80 °C and a warm-up time of 5 to 10 minutes. The roller is made of silica gel and the machine comes with an air compressor.

Productivity and installation: maximum lamination speed is 16 m/min, power supply is 220 V, and net weight is 220 kg. The Pro measures 197.5 × 72.5 cm in width and depth, and the Standard 197 × 66 cm; other published specifications are identical.
